About 400 kilometers east of Bali, in the southwestern island of Sumba, deserted beaches is becoming a popular destination for surfers who come here to ride the waves, known as God's Left.

Nihiwatu resort consists of villas overlooking the sea, including the bungalow with three large bedrooms on the hill, complete with private pools overlooking the Indian Ocean. The rooms are equipped with roof roofed with Sumba textiles and various modern equipment.

To maintain the safety of the surfers, applicable safety policies that limit may only have nine surfers in the ocean. While waiting in line, there are many things that can entertain you, such as fishing activities (the most fish here are Spanish mackerel, wahoo, and Trevally), snorkeling, scuba diving and boating tours to the bay-bay Maloba Konda Beach, about an hour to the south. When the waves are receding, the resort staff will escort you to the villages around, so you can chat with people around and buy beautiful souvenirs.

The best time is during the month of April to December, after which the monsoon blows. Nihiwatu Resort is closed from January 10 until February 28.
