The world's largest caldera (24 km wide) has its own cult temple. Mount Aso is Japan's most well-known marker and generating money for the prefecture of Kumamoto in Kyushu, Japan.

The main attraction in the crater lake of Mount Aso is a steamy blue on Mount Nakadake.
