Fraser Island is the world's largest sand island with an area of ​​360 sq mi. He put in the list of World Heritage Site in 1992. Fraser Island is located in eastern Australia about 200 kilometers north of Brisbane, Queensland. With Cooloola, the island is forming a "Great Sandy Region", extends 175 km from north to south, with varying width (the widest 25 km), with the highest altitude of 260 m. Fraser Island is included in the Great Sandy National Park.

This island can be reached by ferry. Here there are many places to camp with a view of the ocean and the whales are migrating. There are also several areas closed for rehabilitation.
