Collaroy Beach



Located at 22 kilometers north of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Collaroy Beach is one of sati tourist destinations for surfers. Initially, the location of this beach is a part of Narrabean, but in 1881 a ship called the SS Collaroy aground on the shores of this beach. Since then, the name was changed to the beach Collaroy beach. Kemdian, starting in the mid-20th century, coastal development is carried out and eventually become a place of recreation it is today.

The length of the beach is up to 3.4 kilometers and can be used for surfing area. Because the waves are really big, it provided some of the rescuers as North Narrabeen SLC, Narrabeen SLC, South Narrabeen SLC, and Collaroy SLC. Not only surfing, but here too there is the Salvation Army's educational center that can accommodate tents up to a total capacity of 440 people.

Collaroy Beach and the surrounding area is home to several species of birds and marine animals dilndungi as including the endangered category. Example is the sea eagle, pelican bird, Yellow-crested Cockatoo, dolphins, and whales. To get to this place, visitors need only climb the Sydney CBD and Manly Bus through.
